Our Story

Returning Home to the NC Mountains

Matt grew up in West Jefferson, graduating from Beaver Creek High School.  He went to college at UNC Charlotte, where he met his wife, Amy. In the summers, he would take classes at Appalachian State.

After undergrad, Matt and Amy moved to New York City, where Matt worked as a marketing executive for a non-profit agency helping unemployed individuals receive IT training in one of the poorest congressional districts in the United States.  His company also refurbished and recycled computers and cell phones to be repurposed to deserving IT students and low-income families in the South Bronx.

Matt then went on to work for a Public Relations company in Manhattan for 11 years, assisting countless Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 companies, the FBI, DOJ, David Letterman, and even Samsung and Apple.  Missing the community in the High Country, the Littlefields began exploring business ownership. The Littlefields purchased Boone Cellular in 2018, where they hope to grow the business by providing excellent customer service, honest advice, and hands down the best repair shop in the High Country.
